[ There seem to be two Pokemon on this dispatch! You get a sense of both a Hisuian Typhlosion AND a Hisuian Zoroark, though the perspective is a little dizzying before settling down into (mostly) one psychic perspective. The Typhlosion's, probably; it's mostly his perspective with a vague sense of what he thinks he looks like now. Psychic pearls are hard, who knew? ]

Good afternoon, fellow passengers! I am Ingo, and this is Emmet - my brother.

[ So so smooth, it comes so naturally to introduce someone as his family member! ]

We are both from a world with Pokemon originally! We were humans there, and I'm afraid we do not have any idea how this might have happened - this is not the sort of thing that is supposed to be possible! But we would like to offer our help in navigating these new tracks! Between the two of us, we can help to identify your species and typing, as well as other facts about your new forms! We are also both very familiar with Pokemon battling! If you wish to learn to fight, we can provide assistance! I'm very excited to have battles in this new way, and the more people who can participate, the more fun it will be!

... for those who have already met them both and / or have heard at least some amount of their circumstances already, isn't there some kind of explanation missing? Oh well, must not be important. ]

You are from a place where Pokemon are commonplace? But it is not the same as this place...

But it's brief, as Firoza's getting more used to the Grumpearls and she can clamp down on the little thought outbursts a bit faster every time.]

Ah, apologies - please, I would love to know more about what I have become. Doctor Denne was kind enough to explain that I can produce poison, and I...I don't want to poison someone on accident.

It is mostly your back spines and horn that are most poisonous, if that helps. The pokey bits, basically.

[ though Ingo probably has more advice for post-exposure poison mitigation, not that Emmet necessarily knows that yet. ]

There is! [ a beat. ] It will unfortunately involve some trial and error. Mainly in terms of what kinds of attacks you do and don't find easy to endure.

Not to worry, the Pokémon here are equally unfamiliar. Honestly, I'd be shocked if you did know...

Regardless, I'd still like to perform at my full potential. Ignorance is not an excuse for lackluster performance.

...I know I'm considered ground type- actually, all the salt water left a rash for my first week, I still have to be careful with too much water contact apparently. Uh...

Him and the other two new Lum members have some sort of weird townhome thing at the outskirts of the city it seems. Looks a bit spirally, which is what happens when something made for a dragonite, a cubone, and a mimikyu all share walls.]

Let's see... I know I'm a linoone. Linoone variant. Don't know the practical difference past... [mmmm, what was it-] types. Read up about abilities, but hell if I know how to determine that.

And moves. I've figured out at least one. Probably two. No idea how to figure out more. Haven't found any in-depth information on what moves variant linoone can do, either.

So if either of you know any more, it'd be much appreciated. Don't spare any detail. The more I can know, the better.

Oh, yes! I have a good friend back home who is from Galar! He has talked about that Linoone variant before - you have an entire third evolution that the more local variant does not have!

[The one more local to Ingo, anyway, even if they don't actually live as far north as Hisui. An image of that Linoone comes through anyway, though - a brown-furred kind with less of a, you know, Dark Vibe.]

Right. Yes. Evolution. Yes, I've read on the possibility some, but that'd explain why there isn't a variant of it documented. Guess I won that coinflip.

Moves— so far, I've mostly just figured them out by doing? Letting them happen rather than trying to overthink it too much. [ someone, it seems, is a bit of a kinesthetic learner. ] For Pokemon in general, a lot is instinct. A lot simply— comes naturally, typically, after enough experience in battle. Builds on previous foundations. Not always, though! Tutors can exist too.

Admittedly. I'm not sure that me already having a rough idea of what to expect affects things some. But I also told someone else to do what feels right and to not let their own expectations limit them. Pokemon are capable of a lot. I can explain general dark and normal type trends if you want?

Litten can evolve twice. It is like a transformation? Verrrry significant changes, generally. You in specific will end up much bigger, gain a secondary type, and end up walking on two feet if you choose to evolve fully.
