[ There seem to be two Pokemon on this dispatch! You get a sense of both a Hisuian Typhlosion AND a Hisuian Zoroark, though the perspective is a little dizzying before settling down into (mostly) one psychic perspective. The Typhlosion's, probably; it's mostly his perspective with a vague sense of what he thinks he looks like now. Psychic pearls are hard, who knew? ]
Good afternoon, fellow passengers! I am Ingo, and this is Emmet - my brother.
[ So so smooth, it comes so naturally to introduce someone as his family member! ]
We are both from a world with Pokemon originally! We were humans there, and I'm afraid we do not have any idea how this might have happened - this is not the sort of thing that is supposed to be possible! But we would like to offer our help in navigating these new tracks! Between the two of us, we can help to identify your species and typing, as well as other facts about your new forms! We are also both very familiar with Pokemon battling! If you wish to learn to fight, we can provide assistance! I'm very excited to have battles in this new way, and the more people who can participate, the more fun it will be!
If you would like to speak in person, we are both in the Oran Berry Guild!
[ The perspective warps and shifts a bit, as you see Emmet moving forward, and also Emmet's own perspective as he does so. ]
β I am Emmet. What Ingo says is true! Yup! But also, we are willing to come to you if necessary? It would not be a good idea to start a battle near any housing, after all.
[ Emmet, it seems, is a man of much fewer words than his brother! At least when they're in the same space, anyway. His address is also smooth, very smooth, picking up after Ingo's like clockwork.
... for those who have already met them both and / or have heard at least some amount of their circumstances already, isn't there some kind of explanation missing? Oh well, must not be important. ]
(( Responses may come from either or both of them! ))

It's a.....dragon?
[This works a lot better when he sees the Pokemon in question.]
no subject
[ huh, that all doesn't sound so bad, rightβ
so of course he continues, in blithe cheer: ]
Except when defending their territory! Or otherwise provoked. Then they can be pretty scary. Definitely scary for a pair of teenagers who stumbled a little too far the wrong way when looking for an Axew.
[ it's the kind of story you have to look back on and laugh at later because hah,,, we were stupid kids, huh,,,,, even though it definitely wasn't funny in the moment. ]

He slowly nods at Ingo, and then Emmet takes over and WOAH HOLYSHIT]
Uhh....
[bro u almost died.....................and wow ok six foot is Terrifying at this scale.] ...which means I'm only a foot tall...
[Yes that's his first take-away. Uh.] W-why were you looking for dragons in the first place?

[ can it not be as simple as that. but also: ]
You might be a foot tall or you might be a little more or less than. Scale is admittedly hard when I am not entirely sure exactly how tall I am. Size variations within a species and all.

Right.
Well, even an estimate is better than nothing- I didn't really have anything to go on, they don't seem to have any real measuring sticks. ...At least none using something I'd recognize...
[Do pokemon use metric??? oh no!]
no subject
[Not that this is really the most important concern, he supposes.]
In any case, that was an excellent Headbutt! Would you like to practice it some more?
no subject
[ surely they don't make all their patterns off of just vibes. conversions might be necessary after finding a decent reference point, but ...
Ingo's asked the other relevant question anyway, so he doesn't have anything to add there. ]

[Right, training-]
Yes please..! I'd like to work on this as much as possible! I want to fit in better!

Whatever you like. We will be happy to help for as long as you want, yup.
fades this out now...
[Time to aim for the trees and get to work then.] Let me know if there's anything I should be trying!!
[...And hopefully, training won't go on for too long, because they likely have plenty more to do elsewhere as well.]
