[ There seem to be two Pokemon on this dispatch! You get a sense of both a Hisuian Typhlosion AND a Hisuian Zoroark, though the perspective is a little dizzying before settling down into (mostly) one psychic perspective. The Typhlosion's, probably; it's mostly his perspective with a vague sense of what he thinks he looks like now. Psychic pearls are hard, who knew? ]

Good afternoon, fellow passengers! I am Ingo, and this is Emmet - my brother.

[ So so smooth, it comes so naturally to introduce someone as his family member! ]

We are both from a world with Pokemon originally! We were humans there, and I'm afraid we do not have any idea how this might have happened - this is not the sort of thing that is supposed to be possible! But we would like to offer our help in navigating these new tracks! Between the two of us, we can help to identify your species and typing, as well as other facts about your new forms! We are also both very familiar with Pokemon battling! If you wish to learn to fight, we can provide assistance! I'm very excited to have battles in this new way, and the more people who can participate, the more fun it will be!

[ Emmet, it seems, is a man of much fewer words than his brother! At least when they're in the same space, anyway. His address is also smooth, very smooth, picking up after Ingo's like clockwork.

... for those who have already met them both and / or have heard at least some amount of their circumstances already, isn't there some kind of explanation missing? Oh well, must not be important. ]

You are from a place where Pokemon are commonplace? But it is not the same as this place...

[There's a brief flash of an otherworldly display, and the sense of the words, "Source? Shard? Not from ours. Maybe similar?"

But it's brief, as Firoza's getting more used to the Grumpearls and she can clamp down on the little thought outbursts a bit faster every time.]

Ah, apologies - please, I would love to know more about what I have become. Doctor Denne was kind enough to explain that I can produce poison, and I...I don't want to poison someone on accident.

I know you already told me you aren't familiar with my species, but I do wonder if there's a way to determine my "type."

There is! [ a beat. ] It will unfortunately involve some trial and error. Mainly in terms of what kinds of attacks you do and don't find easy to endure.

[ aka you're going to have to get moves get thrown at you, A.B.A, if you haven't already had any experience with that. ]

Ssssssometimes you can guess from what kinds of attacks you find easier to perform, but that isn't always very reliable...?

If it has already happened. And you can remember what the attacks were and how you reacted. We might be able to narrow things down enough to make it easier?

Not to worry, the Pokémon here are equally unfamiliar. Honestly, I'd be shocked if you did know...

[Although it...scares her that Emmet's explanation doesn't seem to horrify him as much as it does her. They really are brothers.....]

Regardless, I'd still like to perform at my full potential. Ignorance is not an excuse for lackluster performance.

It is mostly your back spines and horn that are most poisonous, if that helps. The pokey bits, basically.

[ though Ingo probably has more advice for post-exposure poison mitigation, not that Emmet necessarily knows that yet. ]

[Her attacks, huh? A.B.A tries to recall the battles she had... They all played out quite the same...]

I became enraged, I would glow, and then I would strike.

[The moves in question were Work Up and Outrage, but as far as she's concerned, they just played out like her usual tantrums. And if no one knows what species she is, chances are no one's going to know the name of that signature move she used alongside them.

She liked that one, now that she thinks about it...]

There was one I enjoyed in particular... The way it glowed, it was my favorite color... A blue so clear, you can peer into its depths...

[Despite her rage and confusion, that moment of memory starts to come in clear. For a brief second, her battle with a familiar Sprigatito starts to play from her point of view. There's a lot of screaming on her end, but the blue aura is just as she describes. It surrounds her body, as well as her vision, and the slash of Multi-Attack is fierce. Still, despite the intensity of the attack, the tiny green cat appears to resist it...]

We might at least test for immunities first? If you have one of those, it narrows the field quite a bit!

[It's a bit hazy but eventually the image of a cubone will clear up. A PEELED CUBONE but a cubone all the same, child put that helmet back on,]

...I guess learning to fight is something I should figure out sooner rather than later at least...

...I know I'm considered ground type- actually, all the salt water left a rash for my first week, I still have to be careful with too much water contact apparently. Uh...

...I don't really know the best place to go to learn about much of this though...definitely not my house...

Him and the other two new Lum members have some sort of weird townhome thing at the outskirts of the city it seems. Looks a bit spirally, which is what happens when something made for a dragonite, a cubone, and a mimikyu all share walls.]

Whiskers, probably not! Your claws ... it might be possible, maybe? Depends. Might take more effort, might need to be taught. Don't remember for sure.

Mostly it's a faded echo because he quickly realizes what's happening and drops the pearl.

Still, she can't help but enjoy the little bout of happiness if gave her, her tail wagging if only for a second. She wants to be a good Pokémon so badly... She already considered herself a great homunculus, it's only right.

That joy fades when she realizes what this next test might imply.]

Testing for immunities isn't the same as testing for resistances...is it?

Yep. Dark and Flying. Often found in more rugged areas or near cliffs and such. Not always, but.

[ But oh! Bone Club, right. This is where Emmet ponders the image of the peeled Cubone that started this entire exchange.

I... is there a bone club, actually. Did it just not make it into the self image? These psychic connections have definitely been a learning experience, after all. Maybe it's just not internalized? ]
