video, at the end of october
[A weird, half-dead sunflower seed with dilated eyes and sweat rolling down its shell appears, shouting at you from the clinic.]
THE VOTE IS CLOSE!!!!!!! VOTE FOR UMBREON NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[He grabs the Grumpearl with a vine.]
DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT VOTING FOR LURANTIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[Nurse Chansey from the clinic visibly tries to wrestle the Grumpearl away from him. He shouts various curses that Emporio taught him. You may or may not have a headache now.]

[He takes a deep breath, then slowly exhales.]
Was this truly necessary?

(This is very important to him. He's also clearly delirious from exhaustion.)]

[Just a hunch. Why else would Flowey be in such terrible shape?]

[He conveniently leaves out 'nearly dying' and 'needing to be rescued'.]
voice;
[ Their tone is so incredibly deadpan that it might as well be Freeze-Dry. ]
If that is what qualifies as a resounding success for you then truly I do wonder at what failure might look like. Clearly, the concept of consequences being permanent here has failed to impress itself upon you.

[How could Chara do this?]
no subject
[ why would Chara do this? ]
you think you are above consequences.
[... Were they?]

[ That said, being more than a voice in someone's head probably does lend them a bit more presence and a different kind of weight to the kind of running commentary they might have kept up with Frisk.
Now, whenever they judge someone for taking too many candies out of the bowl, other people hear it! ]

[Akechi heaves a heavy sigh. Flowey. Flowey, why?]
Let me guess. Icefall Lake?

It is especially foolish to be heading out there at this point unless one is particularly suited and more than simply 'adequately prepared,' given that conditions now are worse than when it was first explored, and only set to worsen. Foolish overconfidence is not becoming on anyone.
[ Hence: taking the wind out of Flowey's sails. ]

[He grumbles under his breath.]
If one is to explore the region, they need to dress accordingly, have team members to compensate for their weaknesses, and an escape plan if it gets out of hand.

[ Singsong and crooning. Really, why would he go out to such a place when it means he would be all but useless, a liability to the group at best? ]

[He draws a breath, holding it for a moment.]
But, I was also assigned to keep Kaiba-san out of trouble. It was not my first choice, but we made do.

Guilmon, too, was a fire type. A frozen lake is still a lake beneath.
[ Rip to them. ]

[He could scold Flowey, but that would likely not help when he's in this state.]
...Are you all right?

I'm fine. I've shaken off worse! Really! [He's died before! Very badly! ... Though he supposes he wouldn't come back from it if it happens again. He really does forget that sometimes.]
We broke through the ice and into the lakebed ruins because our amazing client sent us to the wrong place! Emporio's in here recovering, too! [He doesn't know where Guilmon is right now, honestly.] How about you go check on him instead?
no subject
[Really, Flowey. It's not that complicated.]

[Sorry, Flowey. You can't shake him off that easily.]

[He's learned better than to argue with Akechi.]

Here. You need to keep your strength up.
