video, at the end of october
[A weird, half-dead sunflower seed with dilated eyes and sweat rolling down its shell appears, shouting at you from the clinic.]
THE VOTE IS CLOSE!!!!!!! VOTE FOR UMBREON NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[He grabs the Grumpearl with a vine.]
DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT VOTING FOR LURANTIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[Nurse Chansey from the clinic visibly tries to wrestle the Grumpearl away from him. He shouts various curses that Emporio taught him. You may or may not have a headache now.]

voice;
[ Their tone is so incredibly deadpan that it might as well be Freeze-Dry. ]
If that is what qualifies as a resounding success for you then truly I do wonder at what failure might look like. Clearly, the concept of consequences being permanent here has failed to impress itself upon you.

[How could Chara do this?]
no subject
[ why would Chara do this? ]
you think you are above consequences.
[... Were they?]

[ That said, being more than a voice in someone's head probably does lend them a bit more presence and a different kind of weight to the kind of running commentary they might have kept up with Frisk.
Now, whenever they judge someone for taking too many candies out of the bowl, other people hear it! ]

[Complete with the pose- vines out to the side like arms- and a wink. They DID invoke the Absolute God of Hyperdeath...]

[ That is how it goes, is it not? It's funny, really. It's really funny here, actually. ]
Yet I will again and again return, so long as there are still those who will speak the True Name.

[ They may be edgy, but Flowey's the edgelord. There's nuance to these things!
Said they who modeled their edgy deviantart oc off of any number of extremely polite and proper demons, but hey. ]

What can I say? I love an entrance. And your style has always been more...

I am the demon that comes when people call its name.
[... This is accompanied by his very best Chara voice.]

[ Too much intentional menace, not enough would-be disarming (and therefore uncannily unsettling) =) . ]

[ Yeah now they're just fucking with him.
But also! It's about the juxtaposition of a '''harmless''' appearance and the unrelenting sense of dread you are trying to inflict on someone!
But yes, he's always been more for the outright menace and presence of it all. As he said, he does love an entrance. ]

[Okay, that was pretty funny. He plays the part with (mostly) mock outrage.
... This is nice, he supposes. Like the old days or something.]

[Akechi heaves a heavy sigh. Flowey. Flowey, why?]
Let me guess. Icefall Lake?

It is especially foolish to be heading out there at this point unless one is particularly suited and more than simply 'adequately prepared,' given that conditions now are worse than when it was first explored, and only set to worsen. Foolish overconfidence is not becoming on anyone.
[ Hence: taking the wind out of Flowey's sails. ]

[He grumbles under his breath.]
If one is to explore the region, they need to dress accordingly, have team members to compensate for their weaknesses, and an escape plan if it gets out of hand.

[ Singsong and crooning. Really, why would he go out to such a place when it means he would be all but useless, a liability to the group at best? ]

[He draws a breath, holding it for a moment.]
But, I was also assigned to keep Kaiba-san out of trouble. It was not my first choice, but we made do.

Guilmon, too, was a fire type. A frozen lake is still a lake beneath.
[ Rip to them. ]

[He shrugs. Really, it's not the strangest thing he's experienced h ere.]
Fortunately, we explored the crevasses rather than the lake. By all accounts, Agnes-san's fire and Drought ability served their purpose despite the difficulties.

[ Nevermind the kind of hail that breaks windows and glass. Now, can they determine where that line falls, if he speaks truth? It sounds like an interesting little experiment.
(Frankly, they think a little that he's just trying to save face after also having admitted to heading out somewhere unwisely and getting lucky, but they will not say that.)
Musingly: ]
Perhaps we might all wear goggles the next time we are set to face rock slides. But the ice ... I see.
I have heard there are hidden pitfalls there, as well as ice upon which there is little purchase. [ Sliding ice puzzles where the penalty for getting things wrong is falling to who knows where, rather than simply just messing up the pattern of xes and os... ] I suppose you were warned to bring rope? Or were you merely given directions, and set loose after?
