Almost immediately, he bares his fangs again, lunging for Flowey only to grab at his sprout. It's rough, but no more harsh than tugging at a kid's ear. ]

[Fireheart hadn't heard the initial cry for help, but he certainly hears the second one. So the door to this room is being slammed open, by a very determined Litten dashing in to aim a Double Kick at Bigby's head. And whether it lands or not, he just wants to place himself between the two of them.]

[He's mostly addressing Bigby, but... he'd like to believe Bigby isn't attacking someone for no reason. Preferably, he'd like to believe all of this is a misunderstanding.]

[ Word aren’t cutting it. He’s nipping at Flowey’s sprout too while he’s at it, just for good measure. ]

[ His mouth is full of leaf when he looks over.

[ That Double Kick lands all right. He chokes on his own breath, immediately dropping Flowey, only to stumble back and onto the floor.

[He is almost certainly not telling the entire story. In fact, he glares vaguely at the ceiling where he assumes Chara is watching/judging him.]

[Nurse Chansey finally returns, Flowey's Grumpearl in hand. She lets out a loud sigh and gives Flowey a cursory glance before turning her attention to Bigby.]

What an assumption, to think they are always watching, always judging! After all, it's impossible for them to always be here whenever he's doing something stupid ... right?

He knew that was going to be a hard kick but he didn't realize it would... knock Bigby unconscious. Fireheart hesitates, before carefully stepping over to Bigby and sniff him.]

We... should probably go find a nurse. [He glances at Flowey.] You're okay, though, right? What exactly were you doing to bother him?

[ Chansey seems to have walked in at the right time then. "Oh, he'll be fine. He's... resilient."

Spoken like a nurse who's seen this rodent far too many times already. She starts to fan him a bit before propping him up; the two red pawprints now stamped on his face are hard to miss. With another sigh, she glances over at the Litten. "If you wanted to give him a warning, perhaps a less effective move next time? He's had an emotional few days. I doubt he's at his best to begin with."

That said, she turns the conversation over to Flowey and Fireheart, focusing on Bigby instead. He's starting to stir, but she plops an Oran Berry in his mouth for good measure. "Glad to see you've recovered from your Ghost-typing, Mr. Bigby."

He grumbles in between chewing, weakly glaring at the other two. All he can manage to do is growl to himself, but perhaps the words loud and brat and pearl might peek through. ]

[Ignoring... that Flowey has way more points than Fireheart, and Guilmon is nearly at the top without any special treatment. Listen, this hasn't occurred to him. It just makes sense that he's earned his nice roof and that Ribombee came to see him personally when he woke back up because Fireheart's just a very special boy.]

And Bigby's right, there's no reason to be yelling over the network about it.

[ That second part from Flowey cuts especially deep. He spits out a berry seed to the side — all chewed up and falling apart — before finally pushing himself away from Chansey. She honestly looks like she needs a drink at this point. ]

Kid, you've got some fucking nerve. You wanna talk about supporting a cause, huh? When the only person you clearly give a shit about is yourself? Face it: this is just all to get back at Ribombee for not putting you on a pedestal the moment you showed up here.

[ Too heated to slow down and think, he's more inclined to believe Fireheart's side over Flowey's, particularly when he has little stake in Cheri's politics anyway. There's even some vindication in hearing him say he's right about the whole pearl thing, but— ]

[Nurse Chansey, who looks like she's aged over a year in the last 15 minutes, begins preparing a mix of chamomile and other assorted sedatives to give to Flowey.]

They had wondered, to their tea doordasher, what it was Flowey was trying to prove, and half kill himself doing so.

This monologue may or may not be embellished for dramatics, but ... Hm. They were aware of Flowey's suspicions, but this does a lot of contextualize them.

Perhaps they might try to look into things on their own when they can. ]
