[An 'unfamiliar' face projects through the Pearls... except if you look closely, it's not that unfamiliar. The shape of the plumes on his head carry the same general silhouette as a certain Rookidee...
But now he's larger, longer, and has a noticeably bigger beak. In fact, he looks far more like a crow than he did before!
And so Akechi fluffs up his feathers a bit and addresses the Pearl at last.]
Greetings. This is Akechi. I realize that this transformation may be a bit alarming, but I thought it best to announce my recent evolution so that no one believes I've disappeared.
This new form is far more suitable, though I wish it hadn't been so overdue. Still, it seems that being put into highly dangerous situations is one way to provoke evolution.
I suppose this does bring up a curious question, though. To evolve, or not to evolve. For me, it was a no brainer, but others may be less enthused about changing their physical forms yet again. Evolution is, after all, irreversible.
So humor me. Do you wish to evolve, or are you content as you are?

It isn't quite as drastic as, say...
[Here, allow him to demonstrate a Dratini next to a Dragonite.]

They grow arms... [Yes.]
...You don't seem that different though. [She's still considering it 'puberty'.] Unless you're going to grow arms?

[Behold, projected images of a Rookidee in flight juxtaposed with a Corvisquire! Behold the power. The grace!]

You were cuter before. But the new look is very...dashing. I think that's the word...

[Cute... God, that was the worst part, easily. Goro Akechi and cute do not go together, outside of when he was acting as the Detective Prince.]

Yeah, it's very handsome and majestic.

[He heard that giggle, Aelita! He's onto you...]
no subject
Maybe a little. But whats important is that you like it.

[Finally, he can escape the ball accusations...]

[There's a tiny hint of apprehension to his words. Will this disappoint her? Or will it even matter?]
no subject
[That was it wasn't it?]

[But perhaps for her, it's less of an issue. Akechi had many reasons to despise being small.]

Welp
Um, are you talking about those digimon people? ...But yes, it's strange being small and not in one room.
[Aelita had only told 3 people about her nature and none of them were Akechi. Had she been that obvious when stumbling around in her new body?]
