I've been thinkin'.

[ Oh! It's not just a rare video feed from Courier Six, but he's out and about on his mail route. He's passing between some homes right now, the view quite nice, as he talks, looking relaxed and toasty in all the gifts he's gotten. His voice is calm and measured, a smile on his dragon mouth, calm as he delivers mostly food between houses. ] Now, I know th'joke about it bein' a bad thing to be thinking.

But some of us have been here for a while. And it's got me wonderin'. What sort of new behaviours have you gotten from the creatures you are? I've seen some of 'em first-hand, but it might be good to chat about 'em. Includin' th'ones we try and ignore. Like th'fucking torpor. Uh-- the fact that lizards try and sleep a lot in the cold. Not every bit of these bodies are fun.

I know there's some of you guys who also try and fight past some of 'em. That hard?

Chat among yourselves if you want, I'm on this route for a while - the daily grind doesn't end. That was a fun debate we had from Akechi, wasn't it? Nature and nurture and what we are, nowadays.

It's real annoying to have to fight back the urge to kill a guy every time I see a Corviknight. I'm managing perfectly fine, and getting the bones for the water pump got it out of my system for a while, but...

I dunno. I'm not like that. Never have, never will. [ honestly it'd be worse if this society shamed her for it, and she does feel guilt about those corviknights. a lot of it. but hey. pond rules. ]

Perhaps you ought to find a better outlet, lest you earn the ire of every Corviknight and their descendants that remain. Corvids are known to hold grudges, and your typing means that you don't fully resist steel type moves.

[Agnes is on duty, running messages between the towers at the edge of the Canopy and Ribombee's office, so you're getting a view of her snout and snow-covered trees in passing. Her signature scent, of incense and struck matches, bleeds into the connection as well.]

For me, almost more notable than what instincts I have driving me here, is the lack of those that I dealt with at home. I am freer as a Pokemon, which is...nice. I think.

But there's a part of me that also feels indignant at being changed without my consent, I suppose.

There's bits of bein' who I was that I've noticed aren't here, either. But it's probably th'forced detox I went though. [ Or things he dares not even think about. ]

I'm pissed at bein' changed, though. Bein' a dragon is nice and all, but it's still fucked up. I liked who I was, quirks and all.

It never occured to me that such behaviours could occur naturally within animals. I suppose it makes more sense now that it has. [ don't mind her she's being weird. ]

You ever think you'll get enough food to calm that bit of your mind? I mean, it's gotta, right...? With this place bein' so peaceful and plentiful.

I haven't noticed much difference- well, I feel the need to be outside more at night, but I was more of a night person before this. [It's kind of weirder to her not being in the cityscape when she goes outside to stretch- and also the occasional moments where she wants to retreat, but that's more awkward to admit to.]

I've found it nice flyin' at night, you know. Though it reminds me the stars are further then you'd think.
