[ Anyone with a keen-eye will likely note that he’s also not at the Spire, but the Archives. Lum Berries are more than welcome to bump into (pass through?) their new rodent problem if they so wish. ]

[ What in the Frank Herbert's Dune. Just as Bigby gets a peek at those little critters, Parvati might just hear his voice reading over a description of a sandworm. Visuals from Bigby over the pearl are a rare occurence indeed.

[ He gives her a look but decides to let that comment go. Not like wheat would be in abundance in space anyway. ]

... Huh? [ Oh, right. That damn thing is still on somehow. He pulls the pearl out of his pocket. ] Yeah, for your sake, I hope they really are made up. Not exactly what I'd call loaf-sized. [ He scrunches his nose at his pearl with a soft growl. ] So what sort of aliens do you have then? There's gotta be more than... bredworms.

Well, the town I lived in canned Saltuna fish. Uh, there's sprats? Cute little varmint fellas. Then there's the Mantisaurs, and the Raptidons... we have pigs, too. Well. Cystypigs. They're as close to Earth species as we've got other than ourselves. [ she lists them off matter-of-factly, counting on her fingers. ]

Bredworms ain't exactly loaf-sized either. We cut 'em up real small. Mantisaur Queens might be on par with your worm, size-wise. Maybe. [ absolutely not. ] They're huge bugs that spit acid.

[ she awkwardly scratches the back of her neck. ] Oh! And Canids! My Captain compared them to dogs once.

... Mm-hm. [ That's a lot to keep up with in his state, but he's trying. ] Fish, rats, and pigs. The three essentials. Dogs, you can take 'em or leave 'em.

[ The thought of sandworms also spitting acid might be pushing it on the sci-fi front though. His head tilts, eyes focused on what's up ahead. Looks like they finally made it to the apartment. ]

Can you get the front door open? I usually, uh. [ Sneak in through some mouse holes. He makes a face. ] It's not exactly made for someone my size to open.

[ parvati's already on it, standing on her hammer to get the door open. ]

Ta-da! [ she puffs out her chest proudly. ] How do you think I feel, I've been staying here.

[ granted, it's not been terrible on her end. she drags her hammer through the door and beckons him to come inside. ]

[ ... Okay, that gets a tired laugh out of him. He's rubbing his face as he saunters in, trying not to think about Perrin's other roommates while he's at it. ]

Trust me, I get it. [ No sign of Six yet. His ears droop, but takes a swig out of the bottle he's been dragging behind him all this time. ] So what was that about a hot drink? Or was I just hearing things back there too?

Hey, gimme a second. Water takes way longer to boil if you don't know any moves to do it. [ she's clambered onto the kitchen countertop and is presently moving a pot onto the stove. ]

Do you have any preference on what you want? We've got, uh... [ she's squinting into a cupboard. ] hot chocolate? And some tea. [ girl who would kill for something with caffeine in it. ]

Tea. [ He says that without even pausing to think. Also, manners. He didn't completely forget those. ] Uh, please.

[ He's going to set that alcohol of his somewhere in the kitchen. Just not on the counter, because he's too damn small. ]

I'll be on the couch, unable to sleep, in case you need a ghost to haunt anything.

[ As miserable as he looks, he at least sounds a little less on edge. Concussion inflicted upon him aside, she's not so bad. At least she was willing to try something. ]

[ parvati's had weirder afternoons, to be fair, but the fact that she's experiencing things on par with her shennanigans back home's put her at ease a little. ]
