VIDEO;

[The video briefly focuses on III's face before he turns the view around, clearly wanting to show something. For a moment, it's not clear what he wants to show, besides the normal happenings of town-

-Then the video jumps, suddenly cutting to a position a few feet away.]

I learned to teleport again! [Ah, that explains it. He's learning his own abilities, and by the sounds of it one he's familiar with from home.] It's not quite the same, but do you think I could teleport further if I practice?

Congrats.

[It's said flatly, accompanied by a wave of... envy?

(She used to be able to teleport, too. That should be her!)]

Nope. I think you better quit while you're ahead! [And now there's only sarcasm.] Wouldn't want you to dream too big and wind up dropping yourself off a cliff anyway. Or into a volcano.

Oh, I'm fine. I can throw my 'Pearl around and give every 'mon in the Bay motion sickness just fine without Teleport in my moveset, thank you very much!

[... She said jealously, like a jealous person who wants to be able to teleport.]

But if Mimikyu could learn it, I bet I'd be able to pull it off better than you can!
telewarped: (If only I had the chance)

So you are gonna give up on practicing? Sure didn't take much to convince you!

[She is definitely not teasing him to cover up how much she's seething right now!!]
positivestars: (startled)

Whoa!

[That's definitely a surprise! And impressive.]

Good job! Hm… I think you'd definitely be able to teleport further… Though that seems like it could already be useful! Do you need someone to help measure the distance?

Ah - well, most Pokemon I have known can only teleport to places they have either been to already, or can see at the moment.

[ Does that answer the question at all? He's not sure! ]

[Mayaka has been drawing at her desk, quietly enjoying all the art supplies she's gotten during the festive period, and turns to look at her Grumpearl when she spots a familiar-looking Ralts.]

Again? Did you know how to teleport before? That... would have been really helpful in Furnace Mountain. [She doesn't say this with an accusatory tone, but rather with a little shudder as she is forced to remember the circumstances of their first meeting.]

...again? Neat.

I wonder if I could fly further then you could teleport. Y'ever wonder what's across the sea?

[Henry watches without much expression in his face, but he lets his words make up for it.]

Cool.

[Flamebringer watches the video with open curiosity. Not that it shows, he never uses the video function if it can be avoided- but that sense of awe and fascination leaks over the connection a little.

Teleportation was no cheap party trick. He'd met very few art users who could bend reality in such a way to pull it off. He has to admit, seeing it be a common possibility here is as intriguing as it is terrifying.]

[Again? Interesting.]
... The only way to find your limits is to start looking for them. If you push the boundary, you might find it reaches out further than you expected. It'd be a very valuable skill in your pocket if so. [He'd be curious to see III try. Pokemon moves were a different wheel house than arts or physical acuity. They were far more inherent and instinctual.]
