Digimon fight a lot. It's how we get stronger. Lots of them like to beat each other and absorb their data, too.

Guilmon didn't think about it before, because a lot of the Wild Ones attacked the city first, but Ruki would make Renamon fight and absorb lots of Digimon. Renamon attacked me because of that, too, but Terriermon evolved and stopped anything bad from happening.

It was really close, though, and Terriermon got stuck as Gargomon and had to do handstands before he changed back!
